Server Issues Aug 9/10 2009

Our sinsere appologies to authors and visitors who may have been inconvenienced over the last couple of days due to our site being offline, this was caused by issues with our server.

As an environmentally conscientious company FreeArticlesInc uses only “Green” servers this means our hosting company gets it’s power from environmentally friendly, renewable sources such as Wind and Solar generators, unfortunately this means they are occasionally susceptible to certain atmospheric and extreme weather conditions.

It would seem and, our server provider assures us this was the cause of the recent interruption in service,  severe weather conditions caused most of the network to intermittently go down.

While we feel such rare problems are a fair exchange for doing what we can to lessen our environmental impact, please rest assured we will be working with our server providers and with third party solution providers to ensure such disruptions will be kept to an absolute minimum in the future.
